Rev. Daniel Ervin has served as LoveJoy United’s first pastor since 2017. Daniel grew up on the Ervin family farm in Statesville, NC. After studying Social Work and Spanish at NC State University, he attended Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA, earning a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology. Prior to his time at LoveJoy United, Daniel served as resident minister at First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, MI.
Daniel is married to Ryan Harris, a hospice chaplain. Together, they have a delightful Havanese-Poodle mix named Waffles.
