Dear Tester Family, I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the photo gallery you so carefully created. Seeing photos of my old college buddy, Brenda, was also meaningful to me. I only have vague memories of meeting your dear mother, but I could tell from all the beautiful family photos she was deeply loved and cared for, which of course means she was a truly wonderful and loving mother (and wife, grandmother, friend)! Thank you for sharing these touching personal memories with us all!

The service was beautiful. I've been thinking of all of you during this time. I remember Colene as a soft spoken, kind person who never raised her voice. Karen, Barry, and Brenda, you were so lucky to have had wonderful parents. She is at peace now with our Heavenly father.

Colene was such a lovely, intelligent, kind person. Having known her for many years and having had her as a P.E.O. sister I share the sadness in her passing. My loving thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Coleen was the nicest person one could ever meet. When I started going to W. R. Pres. in 1969, Coleen and Bill were there to make it easy for me to be a part of the church. She was so, so nice. Her warm smile. We will miss her very much.

I considered Colene a matriarch of our church. She was truly one of the kindest people I've known. I am grateful for having known her, and will miss her a lot.

My wonderful cousin Colene has always been one of my favorite people--along with her brother, husband and children. Bill and Colene gave me my first decent baseball glove when I was a young boy in Tulsa and they were living near Oklahoma City. Since the late 50's, visiting Colene was always a highlight of any trip I made to Illinois. And what a fabulous family she raised!

Such wonderful memories of Colene. A family member, the sweetest woman ever, and a servant of God. Her children grew up to reflect her gentleness. She welcomed me into her church and I'm forever grateful for Colene reaching out to me. I will forever miss our Sunday morning greetings to each other from our pews.
